We are pleased to announce the rebirth of PCIA under its new name PMaCS (Professional Management and Consulting Services). PMaCS takes over the assets, experience and knowledge gained by PCIA during its fourteen years of business operations. Our mission at PMaCS is to provide the most satisfactory and innovative consulting services to meet the needs of our clients.We will provide cost effective and comprehensive works for professional services to our wide range of clients in order to ensure the realization of their goals. We aim to assist the achievement of a sustainable developed society and utilizing our knowledge and expertise to establish a new business model in the challenging conditions of the present world.
We intend to continue focusing on consulting services covering planning, design/engineering, construction, maintenance and operations of engineering projects, but also undertaking general management consultancy and human resources management and development. We commit to concentrate on customer focused services and we will strive to face the challenges needed in order to reach the goals of our clients. We wish to share with our clients in the enjoyment of the success of their completed assignments.

The Professional Management & Consulting Services, Inc. (PMaCS) was born out of the developments involving the Pacific Consultants International Asia, Inc. (PCIA). In 2009, PCIA re-started its business under new shareholders and new management as PMaCS with President Yoshinori Kotani at the helm, a seasoned structural engineering expert with more than 30 years of worldwide project experience particularly in developing countries.
PMaCS takes root in the prestigious reputation established by PCIA through 14 years of solid experience in engineering and development consulting for infrastructure programs and projects funded by the ADB, World Bank, JICA and various private sector clients. The PMaCS brand of service is founded on a crucial mix of understanding soft and hard infrastructure towards achieving project success, client satisfaction and creating project value for all stakeholders.
With growing client requirements, PMaCS has responsively expanded to include recruitment, financial management and education/training to its roster, hence the company has evolved into a full service firm 'the PMaCS Group' offering diverse solutions to its clients.
PMaCS, owing to its sturdy foundation in the field of engineering and project management, is fully capable to provide excellent, cost-effective and responsive solutions to every recruitment, financial management and educational/training need. Our multidisciplinary approach, valuable experience and knowledge of the Asian market qualify us in providing best value and quality service.
Our past performances in the consulting industry, wherein we collaborated with various international organizations, governments and the private sector, not only demonstrated our capability to deliver results but also showed leadership and ability to form fruitful partnerships towards project completion and success.

PMaCS was founded in 1996 as Pacific Consultants International Asia, Inc. (PCI Asia), an incorporated firm of the Philippines and active engineering consulting company to development projects in Asia and Europe.

From its strategic headquarters in Manila, PCI Asia undertook consulting assignments primarily funded by the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank and commercial projects by private sector clients in the Philippines, Afghanistan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Laos, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Myanmar, China, Taiwan, Armenia, Tunisia, Romania and Vietnam.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Consultants International (PCI) of Japan, the initial objective of PCI Asia was to create a distinct entity to bridge East and West approaches to international consulting engineering services and thereby promote greater competitiveness through the influx and diversity of ideas and practices.

It provided a full range of services from pre-investment studies and master planning through feasibility studies, design and contract documentation to construction supervision, commissioning, and training. It has built a reputation in the provision of high-level professional advice and quality services to a various clients.

In 2008, PCIA was separated from mother-company PCI Japan. It evolved into a full service company in 2009 and re-established as the Professional Management and Consulting Services, Inc. (PMaCS) under new shareholder GMaCS .
